How To Create A New Year Pt.1

We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year’s Day.
Edith Lovejoy Pierce

My interest here, is in conveying to you how to create what you would have appear in your life, while being assisted by the environment, more specifically the Moon. The link between the Lunar Cycle and the oceanic tides is well established. So I will only offer tidbits here and stay focus on creating our own realities in  cooperation with the Moon’s energy.

As another year is coming to a close and we take a pair of moments to reflect on the things that we choose to spend our time on this year, let us take a look with our observer mind and see what kinds of experiences we would like to have in the coming year 2011.

We know that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting something different. So what exactly can we do differently?  Perhaps we can start by following the lead of a highly successful woman Ms. Oprah Winfrey says, “Please take responsibility for the energy that you are bringing into the room.”

"Cheers to a New Year and another chance for us to get it right."

Let us all take that responsibility for what we are bring into our lives, relationships, homes, work environments and this New Year.

Grandmother Pa’Ris’Ha teaches us that, “Life is a circle and a circle is a cycle and everything returns from where it began.” How do we begin?

So to get us started we are going to need some tools. We are going to have to create what the year 2011 looks like for us. Which means we are going to have to write. I know that there will be many who are now going to say, “but I hate writing,” or ‘I can’t write.’ To which I can tell you I understand, yet we are now going to change our patterns of can’t to can. Why because we desire a different outcome in the New Year. All of those who are in our lives right now and the future we invited. They are acting out our scripts that we have chosen for them. Want new experiences, will need new scripts, on how we want to be treated.

So get yourself blank journals, as it is scientifically proven that the brain response more favorably to unlined paper. You’re not boxed in by the lines holding you into the second dimension. You will also want to keep this your sacred book in a space that is all yours and no one else touches.

Think of it this way, this is one of the ways that you and the Source of your life called by many sacred names, communicate to each other. In the times to come this simple tool can assist you, from believing in God to Knowing God from your own personal experiences. You will also want to purchase a pen that you will use only to write in your journal. Perhaps for some this will be the first act of making yourself sacred to you.

Now with tools in place we are ready to explore just what we would create in our New Year. This is not some indistinct affirmation; we are saying that here and now this is Done. Failure is not an option.

We are reaching from that which we call ‘Now’, into our ‘Time Loop’ and establishing what is there, and unless we have a doubt that this is so it is so. When we put our attention on drawing from the field of infinite possibilities, with our single minded focus, we can birth our reality that is frequency specific.

We will use ‘Our Words’ to declare our choice of experiences. The Bible says, “in the beginning was the word…”, our scientific community tells us of downward causation. Does not matter how we come to it, the point is that once we decide that it is Done it is Done.

To help create your reality you might want to answer these questions that perhaps can make clear what you are creating such as:

When is this taking place exactly (day, month, when possible exact time) What is the environment like? Is it warm, cold, sunny, cloudy, raining…What are the sounds that you hear? Birds, tree frogs, car horns, people laughing, talking, singing…. How do you feel exactly? You want to write down every little detail as this is how you are creating it. Now you will want to create from all that you have written one line that trigger this picture any time you see it.

Upcoming: Creating with the Moon energy, continued tomorrow, see you there.

Looking In My Mirror

We See Our Reflections

Looking In My Mirror by Veronica

Looking in my mirror is this the same face

No, this is a new day, a new time and a new space

Yesterday is gone not even God can give it back

So here’s a new day to live a grow and appreciate giving back

Is time really moving when I seem to be standing still

The quickening that’s begun there is none that can’t feel

How is it going faster at a much more accelerated pace

While hands on our watches move around the same face

The days on calendars unseen by all eyes

Marking off time where future dreams lie

Who is this person smiling back at me

These are my choices from the cornucopia of my life

These are the gifts of the new day a new face a new life.

Grandmother Pa’Ris’Ha has often shared to treat each day anew and live it as it is the only one you know for sure.

The Truth Will Set You Free.

Thomas Jefferson – “There is no truth existing which I fear, or would wish unknown to the whole world.”

When men are willing to become intelligent in regard to being co-creators with God because they have invested faith, practice and means in it, The One that lives in all things will help them to understand, and they will be steadfast in their knowing; but when they have merely a theory, a shallow belief they cannot explain, a sudden enticement will cause them to drift away with the current bearing toward mass mind. . . .

Our minds must be prepared to stand every test, and to resist every temptation, whether from without or from within. Grandmother Pa’Ris’Ha often says to us, “I don’t want to know what you believe; I want to know what you know…”

We must know what that we know and how we know as we do, why we are here to help balance, and restore harmony. The truth must keep vigilant watch in our hearts, ready to sound an alarm, and summon us to action to stand up for what we are for. The powers of opposition will open upon us; and all who are indifferent and careless, who have set their affections on their false evidences, and who have not cared to seek the still small voice from within, will be ready victims. No power but knowledge of the truth will ever make us committed; for it is always the truth that will set you free.

Don’t Give Up On Your Dreams

Welcome

Henry David Thoreau – “Our truest life is when we are in our dreams awake.”

Today as I sit looking out of my windows, I see the snow falling softly covering the forest. Another year is drawing nigh. This is the time of year when mass mind brings forward some semblance of kindness and compassion. It is a time that certainly reminds us the basic goodness in humanity. It is a time when all are out and about; there is so much movement and joy. This is a small reflection of the life, I live each day with my Beloved Grandmother Pa’Ris’Ha.

I am proud to say that in my environment this extension of love and joy is expressed every day. I live where I enjoy hugs, blessings and well wishes. I move among my extended family each day with such respect and honor that the warmth of it all brings forth tears of agape. Truly God has filled my cup and it over flows.

There was a time that I would ride through streets looking at those big houses and wonder at the people who live in them. I would imagine how blessed they were. I need not tell you that at the time I also though how better they were than me. I wished that I lived like them, fortunate and happy.

Today as I look out from our magnificent friendship village, built by us surrounded by our 82 acres, I know when you pray God is listening.  When I pick up the phone daily and hear anyone of my family members or friends there is always respect, much love and appreciation expressed. This is what I dreamed of growing up in the ghetto of North Phila. This is what I cried for a many a nights. This is what I felt; I would never have and had no right to want. This is my home, this is where I live, where other people come and enjoy.

My heart’s desire and my prayer is, for those who ever feel the same as I did once, can be encouraged never to give up on your dream, no matter how hard it seems, it is already true as long as you don’t give up on you.

Oprah Winfrey – “Keep a grateful journal. Every night, list five things that happened this day that you are grateful for. What it will begin to do is change your perspective of your day and your life. If you can learn to focus on what you have, you will always see that the universe is abundant; you will have more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never have enough.”

Breathing As The Source

BREATHE ON ME BREATH Of GOD

Today as I was pondering what to share it occurred to me that there is a great desire to understand ourselves.  To know who I am some would say is most important. While I have actively participated in the quest of discovering who I am, for many many years, today there was a melting with spirit. What I mean by that is I could find no separation between that which I have hitherto called I/ me and the Source of this I/me.

Think about it, that which we call life is kept alive by what exactly? Could we even have life without Air? Even if we knew nothing about the science of breath, I think we are all in agreement when I say we cannot live without breathing. This is a truth no matter what race we are, what our belief system is, what part of the world we are in, what our life experiences or our story, there would be no story without breathing. Now as I move further in this thought here is the one thing breathing, that is essential to all of us that has no discrimination. It does not matter who you are, where you are, or what you are,  breathing is essential to sustaining that life.  As we can all affirm that irregardless of who we define ourselves as, there is no I without breathing.

So taking this into account which of our opinions, beliefs, viewpoints, likes, or dislikes comes before taking a breath? Some would say to us to take a deep breath before expressing ourselves.  How much do we really know about the I, that we call ourselves, which we are so willing to separate from others and the Source? Grandmother Pa’Ris’Ha once asked us, “How much time do you spend learning about yourself?… How much importance have we given to getting degrees in whatever field of study?” Yet when it comes down to knowing ourselves would we give ourselves a PHD in self knowledge?

How about fighting for our rights, defending our race, cultures and creeds could we have these differences without breathing? How many wars have we fought in the name of what? Certainly not over the right to breath and yet without breathing there could be no side to fight on or over for that matter. Do we ever wonder why is it, that those whom society calls the vilest among us, is still privy to breathing?  I remember Grandmother saying, “If you are breathing God has already forgiven you.” It is us who judge ourselves

How about scientifically do you ever connect with the thought that if breathing is one of the most essential non discriminatory factor to sustaining life, then it must follow that oxygen is most important to the bodies health. Take for instance when someone faints and people are gathering around to see the first thing someone says is, “alright stand back give them some air, let them breath”, why do you think that is?

Who decides that we can take a breath, if not that which gives us life? Better yet, would you always take a breath if you had to remember to? Would this I that you hold yourself as being, be totally NON Judgmental and allow all others to breath regardless of what they do with the life given to them if it were up to you?

Breathing is the Source of Life called by whatever sacred name; I look forward to exploring the I, that is the experience this breath.

Expect An Answer.

There Is No Cause Without Effect.

Today I was in observance of all that appeared in my day as a result of my prayers. Having had a great day and enjoying the many new people that I met, there was a pair of moments that truly got my attention.

First, lying on the floor I saw a band aid in the wrapper and picked it up. I said to myself I wonder who will need this, knowing full well this would be revealed. Later that evening a lady had a small cut on her finger that was bleeding and I was prepared to help with the band aid I had.

Then while creating a gift basket, I was using a cardboard inside a clear bag for a sturdy bottom. Having already completed two of them with ease, I was asking why this last one was so hard and had not expected the answer, so I missed the purpose of the resistance. It wasn’t until I had push through the resistance and had taped the bag up that I noticed that the cardboard was on the wrong side.

In the issue of the band-Aid I had expected and answer. In the instance of the cardboard I forgot there is no place God is not. I did not recognize the answer of why the last one was more difficult to tape and therefore I missed being helped to get it on the right side.

 Expect An Answer

As a drought continued for what seemed an eternity, a small community of farmers was in a quandary as to what to do. Rain was important to keep their crops healthy and sustain the way of life of the townspeople. As the problem became more acute, a local pastor called a prayer meeting to ask for rain. Many people arrived. The pastor greeted most of them as they filed in. As he walked to the front of the church to officially begin the meeting he noticed most people were chatting across the aisles and socializing with friends. When he reached the front his thoughts were on quieting the attendees and starting the meeting. His eyes scanned the crowd as he asked for quiet. He noticed an eleven year-old girl sitting quietly in the front row. Her face was beaming with excitement. Next to her, poised and ready for use, was a bright red umbrella. The little girl’s beauty and innocence made the pastor smile as he realized how much faith she possessed. No one else in the congregation had brought an umbrella. All came to pray for rain, but the little girl had come expecting God to answer

Carrots, Eggs, or Coffee

Spiritual Story by Unknown
A young woman went to her grandmother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one would pop up.Her grandmother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire, and soon the pots came to boil. In the first pot she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil; without saying a word. In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl.

Turning to her granddaughter, she asked, “Tell me what you see.”

“Carrots, eggs, and coffee,” she replied. Her grandmother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The grandmother then asked the granddaughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg. Finally, the grandmother asked the granddaughter to sip the coffee. The granddaughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma then asked,

“What does it mean, grandmother?”

Her grandmother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity: boiling water. Each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened. The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water.

“Which are you?” she asked her granddaughter.

Which one of your pots are boiling today.

There have been times in my life when I have felt like the only pea in a boiling pot. There have been times when I was accused of being too, “Thin Skinned”. Lately however I am always seen as changing the environment I am in, to one of fun and happiness. I am in great appreciation to Grandmother Pa’Ris’Ha for helping me to get my pot to boiling.
